Rotunda Bar & Restaurant has officially launched its 2026 summer terrace in King’s Cross, introducing a new English garden-inspired destination for outdoor dining and drinks in partnership with Roebuck Estates.

Set along Regent’s Canal, our canal-side terrace has been reimagined as a vibrant English garden in the heart of London. Created in collaboration with Global Generation, the space is filled with seasonal florals and planting, designed to bring the beauty of the British countryside into an urban setting. The result is a relaxed yet refined summer terrace in King’s Cross, ideal for long lunches, after-work drinks and summer celebrations.

Celebrating English sparkling wine and seasonality

Our partnership with Roebuck Estates is at the heart of this summer’s terrace experience. Known for producing premium English sparkling wines from estate-grown fruit in Sussex, Roebuck’s collection is available across our drinks menu by the glass and bottle.

Together, we share a commitment to provenance, craftsmanship and seasonality – values that shape both our food and drink offering and define the Rotunda experience.

Discover our “English Garden” cocktail menu

As part of the terrace launch, we have introduced our new “English Garden” cocktail menu, created in collaboration with Roebuck Estates. Designed around a “grass to glass” philosophy, the menu showcases British-grown ingredients and fresh, seasonal flavours—making it a standout choice for summer cocktails in London.

Highlights include:

  • Mint & Raspberry, combining raspberry gin, mint shrub and Roebuck Rosé de Noirs
  • Strawberry & Gooseberry, pairing strawberry vodka and gooseberry cordial with Roebuck Classic Cuvée
  • Pea & Beetroot, a savoury cocktail blending pea vodka, beetroot and Roebuck Rosé de Noirs

The menu also features orchard-inspired serves such as Apple & Elderflower, alongside savoury combinations like Tomato & Horseradish and Pear & Ginger. A selection of low- and no-alcohol cocktails ensures an inclusive offering for all guests.

Seasonal dining with a gate-to-plate ethos

At Rotunda, provenance remains central to everything we do. Our seasonal all-day menu reflects our gate-to-plate philosophy, with beef and lamb sourced directly from our own farm in Northumberland. This approach allows us to deliver high-quality, sustainably sourced dishes that celebrate the best of British produce.

Summer terrace experiences in King’s Cross

To complement the terrace, we are offering a range of seasonal experiences perfect for groups and special occasions. These include a glass of Roebuck Classic Cuvée paired with fresh oysters, as well as sharing platters for four served with a bottle of Roebuck sparkling wine.

Throughout the summer, we will also host ticketed supper clubs and celebrations around English Wine Week, including curated Roebuck wine flights.
